Wheaton Precious Metals enters US$300M gold stream with Carcetti Capital

On November 26, 2025, Wheaton Precious Metals Corp. (“Wheaton”) entered into a US$300 million gold stream (the “Gold Stream”) with Carcetti Capital Corporation (“Carcetti”) to support Carcetti’s US$1.1 billion acquisition (the “Acquisition”) of the Hemlo Mine in Ontario (the “Hemlo Mine”). The Acquisition closed on November 26, 2025. The Gold Stream was a key component of Carcetti's comprehensive financing package, aiding Carcetti with the capital required to complete the Acquisition and advance further improvements at the Hemlo Mine. Under the Gold Stream, Wheaton has made an upfront payment in exchange for a portion of the gold produced at the Hemlo Mine.

Wheaton, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, is a multinational precious metals streaming company that focuses on gold, silver, palladium, platinum and cobalt production.
