TELUS Health Acquires Workplace Options in C$500M Strategic Expansion

On May 15, 2025, TELUS Health finalized its acquisition of Workplace Options for approximately C$500 million (US$350M) in cash, net of around C$100 million (US$70M) in assumed debt. The strategic partnership with private equity firm GTCR, which brings over four decades of healthcare investment experience, supports this significant expansion with an additional US$200 million investment. The acquisition dramatically extends TELUS Health's global reach, positioning the company as one of the largest providers of digital-first health and wellbeing services worldwide.
