Joseph Richard Hospitality Group Ltd. and its affiliated entities' CCAA proceedings

On July 17, 2023, Joseph Richard Hospitality Group Ltd. (the "Company") and its affiliated entities commenced proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act ("CCAA"). MNP Ltd. was appointed as Monitor with expanded powers and oversaw the operation of the business for the duration of the proceeding. Our team provided strategic legal support throughout the proceedings, including the development and approval of a sales process, the disposition of key assets, and the negotiation of assignments of various contracts across multiple locations.

On March 31, 2025, all of the Company's assets were sold by way of asset purchase agreement, including the Company's real estate holdings.
