Innergex Renewable Energy acquired by La Caisse for C$10B
On July 21, 2025, Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. completed the successful closing of its C$10 billion acquisition by La Caisse (formerly, CDPQ). Following the transaction, Innergex's shareholders will receive $13.75 in cash per share.
Innergex, based in Longueuil, Quebec, is an independent renewable power producer which develops, acquires, owns and operates hydroelectric facilities, wind farms, solar farms and energy storage facilities with operations in Canada, the United States, France, and Chile.
