CDPI and IQ completes an equity investment in 9538-7742 Québec Inc.

On June 30, 2025, CDPI and IQ completed an equity investment totalling C$215 million in 9538-7742 Québec Inc., resulting in the indirect acquisition of a minority stake in Groupe Océan. This was following 9538-7742 Québec Inc. acquiring all of the direct and indirect subsidiaries of 9215-7064 Québec Inc. (known as Groupe Océan). 

CDP Investissements Inc., headquartered in Montréal, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), incorporated in 1998, and primarily operates as a holding company managing strategic investments in private equity and other sectors globally.

Investissement Québec is a government-owned corporation that drives Québec’s economic growth by offering financing, equity investments, and advisory services to businesses while fostering innovation and global investment.

Groupe Océan provides integrated marine services throughout Canada.
